The Pathways Project gave regional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members a chance to see a detailed overview of the Wadna Wadna Court Room, hear the cultural story behind it’s design from Uncle Lewis O’Brien, and listen to Honourable Justice Charlotte Kelly, who runs the Specialised Indigenous List. 

This was my first experience leading a project of this kind, and I’m proud of how it came together. It was an honour to meet Judge Kelly, Uncle Lewis, and Dwayne Coulthard, an Indigenous Family Liaison Officer, for insightful discussions on this important topic.
